• New York City likes to call itself a sanctuary city, but for many of our immigrant neighbors, that's not the reality on the ground. Beyond just voicing support, what will you actually do in the State Legislature to make sure every New Yorker, regardless of their status, can have a right to a lawyer and full access to the state's safety net? How will you ensure our state resources are used to protect people rather than leaving them vulnerable?

• Nearly 1 in 4 Asian New Yorkers live in poverty, which is double the rate of white New Yorkers. And for our AAPI immigrant neighbors, it's even more dire: they are three times more likely to be in poverty than those born in the U.S. What specific, concrete actions will you take in Albany to lower the cost of living and ensure that our families aren't being priced out of the neighborhoods they helped build?

• When our community is undercounted in the Census, we lose out on millions in funding and our fair share of political power for a decade. We can't afford to wait until 2030 to start the work. What specific actions will you take at the state level to fund community-led outreach right now, and how will you make sure the state reaches the families in our neighborhoods who are the hardest to count?
